How old are you?
I'm 37 going on 25. At least thats what i like to think. What country do you reside in?
These United States of AmericaWhat name will you use in game?
Chojin will be my name. I was a big anime fan growing up and there was an evilly twisted anime back in the day called, "Legend of the Overfiend, the Wandering Kid". Chojin was who they called the Overfiend. He was the destroyer and creator of worlds. Seemed fitting for this MMO.Which advanced class interests you the most?
I'm going with the Sith Inquisitor Assassin. Was a tough choice as i always play Assassin classes as my mains, except in Warhammer where i played a Bright Mage and really enjoyed the caster class. Luckily the Inquisitor can do both pending advanced class.Which area do you enjoy the most? (PvP, RP, PvE, etc...)
I have always enjoyed both PvP and PvE, but I get most pumped when in PvP battle. I did lead some raids in WoW and do love downing new content and Boss Mobs, thats a challenge in itself and i want to see all the game content. What is your take on "Ganking," "Griefing," "Camping," etc...? We define these activities as follows:
- "Ganking" = Killing a player far below your own level
- "Griefing" = Consistently killing the same lower level player over and over again
- "Camping" = Staying on top of a dead player's body until they respawn only to kill them again and again when they are in a weakened and vulnerable state.
As far as "Ganking" goes, it is just not worth my time to act in such a way. It makes for a terriblr playing experience for the other player and is a complete waste of my time. Same goes for Griefing, I have better things to do than kill lesser players. And camping is just lame, i dont play the game to make other people not want to play. That is not worthy of my time and have other goals to reach. Besides i prefer a challenge!Tell us about your self briefly and why you want to join Reign.
To start, i have two jobs but both are flexible so i get to play alot more than most would think with two jobs. Besides one is only part time. I'm not married but do have an awesome girl friend, whom is aware of my building excitement of this game releasing.
I have an 18 yr old daughter who is also interested in playing SWTOR but after discussing it, she has college starting next year and school is far more important. I'm a big time night owl and you will see me online late nights alot. I grew up an athlete playing many sports, and still play hockey for a team of old guys that know how to play and beat the young guns in the league. Experience counts for alot.
Have been playing MMO's since EQ and enjoy them more than most other game genres.
I was scanning the SWTOR forums to look for a Guild to join, maybe with a few of my friends but most of them want to play Republic. I came across your Guild and did some research. Read your site to familiarize myself and was impressed. But i took my time and over the next couple of weeks i looked at other Guilds. After careful consideration, i came back to your Guild site and decided to apply. I figure its time to step up my game and play for a Guild that looks promising and shows potential for greatness.
I ran a small Guild in WoW and really enjoy the similarities in the way you run the Guild and Code of Conduct. Not to mention your appreciation of "Real Life" first. We lived by that and it worked out well. Are there any skills, experience or qualities you possess to help benefit the guild?
I dont really have any tech skills i can can help with but i do believe im a better than average player and look forward to facing challenges in game with other skilled players. My experience comes from the many MMO's i have played, even leading a Guild in WoW for a time. And i think my logical mind and objective and fair way of seeing things and treating people were decent qualities that i possess which gave me the nod for Guild Leader in WoW when our Guild moved over from EQ. Where did you hear about Reign and what attracted you to us?
I heard about Reign via the SWTOR forums and listening to podcasts and such. I was impressed and decided to research more into your Guild and found it was well structured with lots of potential in SWTOR. Again i took my time as not all people are good fits for all Guilds, and vice versa of course. But i find myself back here and excited about filling out an App.What is your username on the SWTOR forums?
_Overfiend_ is what i go by. Havent posted much at all but i do read alot.Have you read the guild Charter?
I have read the Charter and feel confident with applying.Did you read the Code of Conduct and agree to it?
Yes i have read the CoC and agree with it strongly.
-----------------------------The following questions are simply case scenarios in which we can get some insight into how you will play the game. There is no right or wrong answer... just pick the option you would as if you were playing the game.A guild member says in guild chat that he/she is under attack by a Republic player(s) and is requesting assistance. They keep getting killed over and over again. You are a higher level player than your guildmate and currently in the midst of questing yourself. What do you do?
A.) Finish your quest and then offer to help.
B.) Continue about your business and let your guildmate handle it themselves.
C.) Stop what you are doing and come to your guildmate's aid immediately.
Depending if i was close to quest completion or not, would base my answer. If i was within a couple minutes of finishing up then i would finish and then head over to help my Guildmate. But if there was still some things to kill or do before completing then i would immediately go and help our fellow Guildmate to crush the rebel scum!! Thats just plain fun!One of your fellow guildmates said or did something that offended you in some way. Do you:
A.) Forget about it and not mention anything to anyone.
B.) Talk to a leader about it right away.
C.) Talk directly to the member yourself.
I'm not a sensitive person so it would take alot to offend me, but if it were to happen i would calmly and in a positive manner try to resolve the situation in personal tells as an adult. If this did not work then i would simply inform a Guild Leader or Officer and explain objectively the situation. You are going about your questing when you come across a player on the Republic side who is much lower level than you. Assuming you are on an open Player-versus-Player server, do you:
A) Leave the player alone and let them go about their business.
B) Kill the player on sight once and then leave them be.
C) Kill the player each and every time you see them until they leave the area or you get bored of it.
Only if the player was in my way would i kill them, but i wouldnt camp them or continue to grief a player. As i stated before i dont care to fight lesser players, i prefer a challenge and would look forward to meeting them later in the future if and when they were ready.
Although the Sith in me says to kill them on sight once, as all Republic are lesser being to a Sith mind!
Lastly i would like to say that i hope that everything works out for us but i understand if it doesnt and if i dont get accepted then no hard feelings, and look forward to seeing you guys online and killing some Rebel scum together!
Good luck Reign!
