Not much more to say than what is already here. The PvE was very solid but didn't really offer much new in that realm just very polished. PvP was a ton of fun, however I was having a hard time getting into battle with friends. WvW was even better than the pvp, perhaps because it let me group with friends. The limitation on character skills available at one time helps keep balance whereas most MMOs try to give you too much utility causing many balance issues. I can't wait till release when everyone gets on the SAME server and PvPs together. Its going to be a megaton of fun.

The more I dwell upon it, I do find ONE major issue I have with this game.

Others have already touched on it in various ways,

The software engine, is horseshit.
Quote:
Guild Wars 2 uses a heavily modified Guild Wars game engine which includes support for true 3D environments, more detailed environments and models, better lighting and shadows, new animation and effects systems, plus new audio and cinematics engines and a more flexible combat and skill-casting system.

Its the same damn engine from GW1, heavily modified.

I could feel it in the character movement, and even ability activation, theres a bit of a lag in it. Probably harkening back to melee auto moving into range, and thats probably why Arzon your chracter felt werid, is because the original game you could not jump, and there was a bit of an auto track walking to mobs.

I do see they mean to support dx10 which this build did not, so perhaps there are some other things that can smooth it out. But come one, the engine was made in like 98. They should delay the game a few more years and make a new engine just for me.

Well even though the engine is old doesnt mean it is bad. Elder scrolls has been using the same engine for a long time and keep modifying it and updating it. Also the server input and lag issues probably didnt help. I would like to see it running on stable servers like some of the videos from Pax and stuff showed.
