Player-vs-Environment ("PvE") Policy
PvE Organization & Rank System »

For Player-vs-Environment ("PvE") initiatives, ranks will be provided and/or chosen to help organize the scheduling of events and comprise group makeup. The ranks are as follows:

For PvE, the ranks follow the Operative designation.

  • Operative A: This rank is earned by participation and by demonstrating proficiency and knowledge of the fights as well as exhibiting general leadership skills.

  • Operative B: This rank is chosen and is for people that will participate heavily in guild events (PvE or PvP). It is basically the highest chosen rank for people who will be involved and participate in almost all the scheduled raiding/operations events. Members that choose this rank can ascend to Rank A or descend to Rank C, dependent on their level of participation.

  • Operative C: This rank is chosen and is for guild members that will participate in the scheduled raid/operation events but not as heavily as others. It is a designation for a more casual approach in which the member will maybe go once or twice a week and are not required to attend a certain amount of times but they are encouraged to help when the teams are in need of members to complete an operation/raid. This rank can be bumped from a raid by a member of the other higher ranks if space is beyond capacity.

  • Unranked: These members have a more casual approach than the others listed above. They are welcome to participate in operations/raids but their attendance can be bumped by other ranks if space is beyond capacity.

Raid leaders will only come from Rank A and they will be voted by the groups at the time of the event (or before if time permits). A raid leader will only formally be assigned in advance by an Overlord if it's a new raid or there are no other people that know the fights or tactics for that particular event.

Due to the amount of people interested and the relative low number of people needed for the 8-man runs, we expect to have several runs running on weekly basis. These groups will run at different hours to accommodate various schedules/timezones. If there is a time slot that has the ability to run 2 groups at the same time, we will run the 2 groups. Each of those groups will have a set roster if one group is progressing faster than the other. We will trade a few players when possible so the group that is more advanced can teach the other group the fights and help them advance as well.

The roster will be compromised by mostly Groups A and B and 1 or 2 of the members of Group C. We expect to have a rotation and allow everybody to go to the events, but players from Group C can expect to sit out more often than members of the other groups. If they want to attend more consistently, they need to voice their intentions to join Group B and they have to follow the guidelines for that group.

Players must choose a main to use in raids. Characters will be assigned to a group and they must stick with it unless there is a previous discussion with raid leaders/Overlords to make exceptions.

Loot Distribution »

If Bioware follows through with their idea of having loot bags for each player, then loot distribution will not be necessary and the game will take care of that.

If there are no loot bags we will institute a system TBD.

General guidelines for PvE (Operations AND Flashpoints) »

  • Be polite with other guild members and people in the game. You are the face of the guild when you are in a group with non-guild members. We expect you to show the values of the guild and behave accordingly.

  • Don't get angry if other people decided to choose light side or dark side paths changing the flashpoint. Each person deserves to make the choice they want and they should be allowed to do it without being harassed or kicked out. You still get the points for YOUR own conversation selection.

  • If you already won a need roll for a drop, ask if others don't mind if you need the roll. If someone else is needing, pass on that piece of gear and let the other player get a drop too.

  • If someone doesn't know the encounter explain it to them before getting angry and trying to get him/her to leave. This is a game and it will be better for everybody to help and explain than get angry and kick people from the encounter due to your own selfish desire to get loot.

  • If you don't know the encounter, ask before you start. Don't be afraid or ashamed, it is better to ask than to have the whole group die and blame it on you.

  • For items like commendations, tokens or any other item the whole group can use, roll GREED unless you have a previous arrangement and everybody agrees to it.

  • Companion gear will always be a GREED roll, unless there is a previous arrangement and everybody agrees to it.

Scheduling »

There will be two (2) nights a week to start in which we will run guild sponsored runs, create as many groups as possible and run as many Operations and Flashpoints as we can in the slotted times. Those 2 days will be announced every Sunday night. (There will announcements via the game in the guild "Message of the Day" and within the events section of the website).

Any member is free to set up an event, but please make sure to use the website events calendar to avoid overlapping events.
